Our 8th-grade art students have once again demonstrated their incredible talent. The winners of this year's holiday card competition are Aliana Ballares, Eli Cong, and Eliza Alayon.
Please join us in congratulating the following MMSOA students recently selected for the 2023-2024 SC Allstate Chorus! Over 650 students from 35 schools across the state auditioned. 180 were selected. We are 1 of 2 middle schools representing BCSD this year. We are very proud of all who auditioned!

To complete our spirit week everyone came dressed in their Halloween best last Friday!
Periodically our Administration comes together and selects a deserving staff member to be our Mighty Monarch. The Mighty Monarch is a staff member who shows his/her Monarch Spark through integrity, kindness, and perseverance. The Mighty Monarch leads by example and creates a positive environment for our students. At this time we are honored to announce Ms. Kayla Clark as our chosen Mighty Monarch.
October's Library Club was all about having fun with friends! Students colored, constructed structures, and played chess, checkers, Otrio, and Uno. Permission slips will be available on November 13th for the next gathering which will be held on Monday, November 20th.

There will be two alternative certification info sessions for prospective teachers. The first session will be held virtually on October 18 at 6 p.m., and the second will be on November 1 at 4:30 p.m. at our main office in Moncks Corner.

The library's Craft Corner gathering was a blast! Club participants made tea light globes, mason jar mummies, and book page ghosts. They also made cards for Mrs. Galati, our surprise guest, to deliver to Veterans. The next gathering will be held December 4th. See Mrs. Courtney or Mrs. Fisher for more information.
