We are super proud of our WVM Beta Club Members this week! They did a wonderful job at their induction ceremony and celebrated by collecting over 350 items to stock four blessing boxes in our school community! 🖤💛🖤

🍂 Thankful Notes Celebration! 🍂
Last week, our students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the library and write heartfelt notes of gratitude to their favorite teachers and staff members.🎉✨ All of the notes are proudly displayed outside faculty doors, showcasing our appreciation for our amazing educators!
As a special bonus, every student who participated was entered into a chance to win a delicious pie for themselves and the adult they wrote to! 🥧❤️

It was a beautiful day on the Boulevard and Ms. Willis and Ms. Cheshire decided to take their 6th grade math students outside for a lesson on adding and subtracting decimals!





Ms. Eddy's 6th grade Gateway to Technology class hard at work creating cube puzzles out of mini cubes! They worked well together and were challenged solving each other's puzzles. We are lucky to have Ms. Eddy and Gateway at WVM this year!

WVM Families-Take a moment to express your appreciation for your student's teachers by filling out a brief form to write a thank you note! The notes will be printed and delivered to the teacher directly. You may fill out the form as many times as you would like and your thoughtful messages will mean so much to our educators and help foster a positive school community. Check out Dr. Bradley's newsletter that was emailed 11/13 to complete the form.


Westview Middle is hosting a Food Drive for Helping Hands of Goose Creek! Items can be dropped off in the library until Friday 11/22. Some of the requested items include: personal hygiene products, dry breakfast goods, canned meats, stuffing, meal kits and soup. The grade level with the most donations will win a popcorn party. A major congratulations to our October Teacher of the Month, Ms. Samantha Howard. Ms. Howard is new to WVM this school year and has made our media center a wonderful place to be for all. We are so grateful for her!

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually October 23-31st and highlights the importance of living a drug free life. We wrapped up our Red Ribbon festivities last Friday with a door decorating contest This year's theme was "Life is a movie, film drug free". Ms. Harrelson's class won with their Door Decoration of the Tin Man. Congratulations to all of our students and their commitment to live a drug-free life! Don't forget, our Goose Chase fundraiser to raise money for our very own "Goose Creek Goose" is on Monday afternoon. We will still be allowing entries tomorrow, November 4th the cost to participate is $10 and there will be concessions sold as well. There will be some special guest appearances you won't want to miss!

We capped off Red Ribbon Week/Halloween Week with a "swap" day where students dressed like teachers and teachers dressed like students. Thank you for an amazing week of Red Ribbon Week Participation, WVM!
